True Love

Deitrick Haddon says that “you and I are one in the same. Red Blood flowing through one vein. I can feel your pain, you’re my brother and sister. One blood…” (One Blood, Revealed Album). However, when I look at the world we are killing one another for nothing, mainly because we are fueled by our greed and our carnal nature of destroying what is in our way towards what it is we are fixated on. Tell me, when is it enough. I can understand going to war for the weak, the widow, the orphans, the truly poor, the stranger and our brother and sisters, but to use them as a pretext while your true goal is something else is evil and not Love. “Don’t lose your grip on Love and Loyalty. Tie them around your neck; carve their initials on your heart. Earn a reputation for living well in God’s eyes and the eyes of the people.”  Pasted from <http://www.biblegateway.com/keyword/index.php?search=love&version1=MSG&searchtype=all&limit=none&wholewordsonly=no&startnumber=51&startnumber=76>. It is, also, said that “All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him, like a shadow that never leaves him.” Buddha Pasted from <http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/authors/b/buddha.html> . Love is my walk, it is a hard one because some people I just want to do something to them, however I am learning to walk in True Love and not allow myself to be influence by them. However, evil people, people who are inherently full of just evil thoughts and people who choose to be evil, I choose to fight and stand against them with all I have and with my Abba before me.

Today we live in a world that when they do shout out “I Love You”, it is just like saying “hey bartender a get me a cold one.” We also tend to use the word “love” to get what we want, by manipulating others. We also tend to interchange “love” for “lust” and that is a shame because Love is nowhere in the neighborhood of one’s conquest. The world, the church, our own make-believe definition of Love has corrupted what True Love is. The bible describes True Love so eloquently; it says:

Love never gives up.

Love cares more for others than for self.

Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.

Love doesn’t strut,

Doesn’t have a swelled head,

Doesn’t force itself on others,

Isn’t always “me first,”

Doesn’t fly off the handle,

Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,

Doesn’t revel when others grovel,

Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,

Puts up with anything,

Trusts God always,

Always looks for the best,

Never looks back,

But keeps going to the end.

Love never dies

Pasted from <http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20Corinthians%2013&version=MSG>

Looking at this definition of Love, do you have them all or any one of them? If you at least have one of these attributes then you are far ahead of the curve because looking at this world I tend to see selfishness more than anything else. I am all about loving self, if it does not infringe on others and also edifies others. What most people call loving themselves is truly egoism, self-centeredness and lust. I can understand someone wanting to take care of themselves to better themselves and in turn be able to help others, those that need it the most. Now, when walking in Love, people believe that I have to accept and take everything thrown at me and help everybody to no end. Well, that is not true. In walking in Love, true Love, we must first Love ourselves, in the truest sense of the word, and in turn we will know who is true and who is truly evil and who is trying to take advantage of you because in walking in True Love God will sensitize your spirit, also called discernment. I can attest to it because I did walk in Love, true Love, for a while to test it and I must tell you that it is relieving and she rejuvenates your spirit. Now, it is not easy to walk that kind of walk because it requires you to cut all that you thought you knew and/or were thought about Love, which tends to be a hard think to do since we are after all human when it comes to the brain and memory. There is a solution, however, to this human barrier. I figured out that if I just ask God to take them on and to help me with erasing all that is wrong in my thoughts, He is faithful to do so. He does not discard you of your identity or your free will or even your thoughts, just the way you process information. Simplest surgery I have ever experience in my life.

So, Love, True Love, is not a walk to be taken lightly and something you can decide to do just by reading this blog. True Love, first has to come from God and you have to make yourself available for it. The way you do so is by calling upon God, Buddha, Allah, sentient being, the universe, however you relate to the Almighty, and ask to experience True Love. Once you experience her you are able, have the will, the want, the desire to share it with others. When you start experiencing True Love, you will learn to truly Love yourself in a way that will not only benefit you but others as well. When you experience True Love, you will not settle for less, ever. When you experience True Love, you will start and want to live a fulfilling, uplifting, and a joyous life and lifestyle. When you experience True Love, you will cut those that bring you grief; destroy those who seek to destroy it; fight those who sip energy out of you. True Love will cause you to stand for Truth; Peace; your fellow-man and sister; the environment; the earth. True Love will enable you to fight for the poor, weak, widow, orphan, stranger and injustice. Mohandas Gandhi says “A coward is incapable of exhibiting love; it is the prerogative of the brave” Pasted from <http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/authors/m/mohandas_gandhi.html>. So, True Love will create in you True Bravery.

Martin Luther King, Jr. sought equality and justice for all because he knew and shared True Love. The problem was that there were those who chose to not accept it and they exacted their false justice and false love by killing the man. To say you Love people or even a race, such as “I love my black brothers and sisters,” should also mean that you too want to see good upon the other race and that you want to share it with them. However, to say such words and hate your fellow-man, of another race, cannot and will not be true, because you cannot hate one and Love the other because Love, True Love, has no color or preference; True Love cares for no creed, rhyme or reason; True Love is unconditional. Not liking something someone else or another culture does is understandable, however I have seen that we all have shortcomings and none is perfect, unless in their own eyes. Taint not True Love since without it this world would have been done and gone a long time. We call earth “mother”, right; A mother is one who Loves their children inspire of themselves, unconditionally and so looking at the human race and how wasteful we are and how we are polluting mother earth, yet she still Loves us by not only sustaining us till today, but also by providing us will all we need, want and desire. We humans are the ones not sharing and ruining this earth of ours through selfishness, hatred and greed, which lead you away from True Love. True Love is not an emotional response, it is who you are; True Love is your nature, or should be your nature, and True Love does not get abuse, rather True Love is properly used based on your will and another receiving and/or accepting her.

Love Unconditional,

Sidney
